Food ingredients Europe is one of the world’s leading conferences and trade fairs for ingredients, technology, and innovation in the food industry. Each year, the event brings together thousands of decision-makers, developers, producers, and experts from across the globe — and this year, the conference will take place on 2–4 December 2025 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

This year, you can meet representatives from Food Upcycling, who will be participating to present the project’s work on building a more circular food sector and showcasing the potential of better utilising food side streams. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear presentations, ask questions, and experience the launch of new initiatives, including the Global Food Upcycling Map.

Silent Pitch Session – Dutch Pavilion (73J23) | Tuesday, 2 December, 15:40–15:45

Our Dutch partner, Foodvalley, will present the project and demonstrate the Global Food Upcycling Map during the popular Silent Pitch Session, where all participants receive headphones for a focused and high-quality experience. The session will be followed by the Dutch Pavilion Networking Drinks, which traditionally attract a large crowd.

Panel Discussion – Innovation Hub (73F55) | Wednesday, 3 December, 14:10–14:40

The panel discussion “Global impact through circularity: Valorising side streams and scaling upcycled ingredients across borders” brings together representatives from Foodvalley, the Danish Technological Institute, and a Swiss biotech start-up, Trilliome. The discussion explores how upcycling of food side streams can create global impact and new business opportunities.
